THANK YOU TO ALL THAT CAME TO RESILIENCE: BUILDING OUR COMMUNITY

Resilience: Building Our Community was a smashing success for Centro Romero this year.  Hosted by Telemundo’s Karla Leal, the evening included reception, silent auction, dinner, and a keynote speech by Illinois State Senator Daniel Biss. Centro Romero’s prestigious Monsignor Romero Award was presented to Father Manuel Dorantes for his incredible work with the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, and our Community Leadership Award was presented to Alma Rodriguez, the Program Director for The Chicago Community Trust.

Centro Romero would also like to acknowledge and give gratitude to our Honorary Host Committee co-chairs Hon. Patrick O’Connor (40^th Ward Alderman), Hon. Joe Moore (49^th Ward Alderman) and Hon. Harry Osterman (48^th Ward Alderman).
