Tickets are $15 per person. Families: children 7 years and under enter free of charge.

Tickets are valid for Entry to the Event where you will enjoy the live music and dance classes! Food and drink sales are additional. You will receive ticket confirmation over email or text within 24 hours of purchase.

We appreciate every single ticket purchase! It all goes to support Adult Education at Centro Romero. If you forget to purchase a ticket, no worries. We will sell tickets outside the event as well (:

What this Fundraiser Means to Us:

Believe it or not, Centro Romero Hispanic Heritage Night 2024 is the first of its kind.

Centro Romero has been serving the Latino immigrant and Refugee community for 40 years!! Every day for four decades we have empowered our immigrant and refugee community with resources that promote self sufficiency. We take a great deal of pride in what Chicago’s Hispanic community brings to the table (literally and figuratively). That’s why we invite you to celebrate a night of Latino food, music and dance!

All proceeds benefit Centro Romero’s Adult Education department. We offer English, GED, Citizenship preparation, and more classes free of charge because education is key to empowerment and self sufficiency of our community.

Event Information

Venue

Meet us at 1401 W. Granville! Don’t worry – it is very close to Centro Romero! Walk 2 blocks down Granville Ave, and take a right into St. Gertrude School.  See you there on Saturday, Sept. 21 from 5-9 pm!

Dance Class

Do you like to dance? Or, do you want to try? Great!! We love a growth mindset in Adult Education. Every hour will include a 15 minute latin dance class. The class will be suitable for all levels, and you can keep on dancing to the live music between classes!

Live Music

Our live music will be provided by los Emil Rojo y El Sismo! They are an accomplished Latin fusion band who we can count on to keep the rhythms going throughout the night. (You may have caught a glimpse of them at Pilsen’s 2024 Mole de Mayo!)

Latino Food

Prepare your taste buds! The event will feature a variety of Latin American cuisines from many countries. Empanadas, pupusas, and much more flavor! Non alcoholic beverages will be provided free of charge.
