You must be a legal permanent resident (LPR) for at least 4 years & 9 months to apply or:
2 years & 9 months if the code on your LPR card starts with IB or if you have been a LPR AND you have been married to & living with the same US Citizen for the last 3 years. Please bring in as much information & documentation as possible.
If you do not bring everything that is required you will be rescheduled
You will need the following documents
- Legal Permanent Resident Card (Green Card)
- Birth Certificate
- Passports (Current and expired)
- State ID or Driver’s License
- Answer all information on the attached pages
- Household IRS Tax Returns for the last 5 years to obtain a free record call: 1-800-908-9946.
- As well as recent proof of income.

The legal system we use charges $50 to open a case, although we offer free consultation services there is a $50.00 fee (non-refundable) to cover the technology used for the consultation needs.

◉Marriage and Divorce Certificate from you and your spouse - If your father or mother is a United States Citizen, bring a copy of their Naturalization Certificate
- If you have ever been arrested, bring your Court Record (Certified Court Disposition)

If you are applying because you have been married to and living with the same US Citizen for the last 3 years bring documents that prove you & your spouse have been living together such as:
◉Joint bank statements
◉Credit card statements
◉Health, car, and life insurance
◉Utility bills
◉IRS Tax Returns for the last 3 years
Cost for applying for citizenship are as follows
- $640 money order payable to USCIS
- $85 money order payable to USCIS
- $250 payable to Centro Romero (Filling & Mailing)
- $50 payable to Centro Romero (Consultation) * For information on loans ask during consultation.
You may qualify to be interviewed & tested in your own language if:
At the time of filing you have been green card holder for 20 years & 50 years of age
Green card holder for 15 years & 55 years of age
