RESILIENCE: BUILDING OUR COMMUNITY – CENTRO ROMERO’S 2017 ANNUAL EVENT
Thursday, September 21st, Centro Romero presents our annual gala event: Resilience: Building our Community. Since 1984, Centro Romero has been instrumental in helping newcomers integrate into the communities based around Chicago and the Midwest. In the last decade alone our organization has been able to assist 115,000 individuals with services ranging from youth development, legal services, domestic violence prevention, adult education, and healthcare.
For over 30 years, Centro Romero’s influence on the aid of immigrants and refugees has always been our highest priority.
Our 2017 gala focuses on the resolve of our community and how we can stand strong in troubling times. True to our mission, it has been our imperative that Centro Romero’s participants have first-rate services always available to them.
Resilience: Building our Community will be held on the evening of Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 6:00PM at Hotel Allegro’s Walnut Room, 171 W. Randolph St. Our event, hosted by Telemundo’s Karla Leal, will include an early reception, silent auction, dinner, and a keynote speech from Illinois State Senator Daniel Biss of the 9th District.
