“Healthy Bodies • Minds and Communities,” Centro Romero’s annual gala on September 22nd, was hosted by reporter Emily Florez of NBC 5 Chicago and was a great success inside the Walnut Room of the The Loop’s beautiful Hotel Allegro.   The evening proceeded with an introduction by Centro Romero’s Board President, Sandra Arellano introducing Jason Lunderman, Government Affairs Manager for Comcast, one of Centro Romero’s Platinum Sponsors for the gala. With Jason’s introduction, our keynote speech was presented by President and CEO of Erie Family Medical Center, Dr. Lee Francis.  Members of Centro Romero’s board of directors later celebrated the exemplary achievements brought to the community by declaring Kalman D. Resnick of Hughes Socol Piers Resnick & Dym, Ltd. our awardee of the Monsignor Romero Award and Adrian Guerrero of Union Pacific Railroad as our Community Awardee.  The evening concluded with the closing of the silent auction that included a bevy of items donated from the likes of The Joffrey Ballet, The Chicago Cubs, Companion Maids, Southwest Airlines, and many others.
