Centro Romero RoundUp.org Donation

General Information

Centro Romero has a listing on RoundUp.org, an official Financial Partner of Visa and Mastercard that lets supporters automatically donate the rounded up remaining cents of a dollar to Centro Romero from every swipe of their card, tax deductible.

On average, for every 100 donors, Centro Romero would get about $30,000 per year in recurring monthly donations.

The Philanthropy Incentive Program (PIP) pays nonprofits $25 per qualified donor (An eligible donor who completes 3 consecutive monthly donation cycles), disbursed in batches of 10 qualified donors (extra $250 for every 10 donors we get signed up).

(45 days to recruit the donors).

Data for our listing is publicly available IRS data, we receive donations via nonprofit donor advised fund OurChange Foundation.

How it Works

- Enroll your primary spending card with a Visa or Mastercard logo. Optionally, set a maximum donation per month.

- Every purchase you make will be rounded up to the next dollar at the end of each month. That total amount will be sent to your designated nonprofit.

- You'll get a tax deduction receipt and have an opportunity to invite others to support the cause.

- Your data and identity are secure, they never store your credit card information, they never receive details of any credit card transactions.

- You can remain anonymous.

- Set a maximum donation per month at any time.

TPS (Temporary Protected Status)

Dear TPS Applicants,

As of today, the Trump administration has still not approved TPS cases for El Salvador.

This leads us to believe that TPS for El Salvador may no longer be extended.

The best thing you can do at this time is to consult about your individual case with an attorney or with Centro Romero.

If you would like more information, you may come to Centro Romero on Saturdays at 2:00 p.m., and we will be happy to explain what other options may be available in your particular case. Except on holiday weekends.

These are some of the things that happen when TPS ends. When TPS ends, there is no longer any TPS extension once the program is terminated. You return to the same immigration status you had before receiving TPS. There would no longer be a way to obtain a work permit through TPS.

You may come to Centro Romero on Saturdays at 2:00 p.m., and we will be happy to explain what other options may be available in your particular case.

***If you live in another state, you may send us an email with your new address, and we will send you a list of other organizations near you.

***If you are already a permanent resident, congratulations. We remind you that you can share this message with people who have TPS. If you need a consultation for a family petition or for citizenship, you may come Monday through Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
