Mini Summer Session: July 7-31, 4 Weeks

  • The Family Literacy program is designed to help parents improve both their parenting skills and literacy skills while providing young children early childhood education and child care
  • Parents are provided with ESL classes and other informational workshops to improve literacy and to assist them in promoting their children’s educational development. The Family Literacy program consist of five components: Adult Education, Parent Education, Child Education, Parent and children together (PACT), and Library activities. The program also incorporates presentations from motivational speakers, family psychologists, nutritionist and more with the purpose of increasing self-confidence and empowerment in their parenting journey. With these five components incorporated in the program, parents can use these tools to keep enriching their literacy and their children’s education as well.
