Futsal Fright Night – Friday, October 28th

Join Centro Romero for our 2016 Dia de los Muertos and Halloween festival, "Futsal Fright Night" on Friday, October 28th.   Starting at 6pm, our festivities will be held at Chicago Futsal Academy, 6122 N. Clark St.  An indoor futsal soccer field for the kids, food supplied by members of the Centro Romero community, costume contests and more! Chicago Futsal Academy has a bar with drinks for sale. Temporary Protected Status forms starting July 8th

Centro Romero is filing out TPS forms every Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00pm. The registration goes from July 8 to September 3, 2016. The permit is for 18 months. Beware of fake diploma sites!

The Federal Trade Commission has filed charges against two online websites regarding the sale of fake diplomas.  These sites have claimed that by supplying them with between $130 and $250 you will receive a degree and many of their recipients have gone on to successful jobs. Fourth Annual Anti-Violence March

Earlier this month, members of Centro Romero​'s Dare 2 Dream Youth Program - along with their parents, were involved in our 4th Annual Anti-Violence March in Alderman Harry Osterman​'s Edgewater neighborhood and in Rogers Park, with the backing of Joe Moore, Alderman of Chicago's 49th Ward.  The march, starting at Centro Romero's offices at 6216 N. Clark, went 1.5 miles Northeast all the way to Rogers Park's beautiful Pratt Beach.
